Twitter So me and my girlfriend keep arguing on this same problem, it’s becoming a weekly argument. The basics of the situation is that I only get to see her once every two weeks sometimes once per week, but not often. We are both at university. She is doing nursing, which means that she works a ridiculously busy schedule in the hospital 12 hour days, 3 days per week , along with all her essays and assignments on top of that. I study law, and have nowhere near as busy of a schedule.
I want to make us seeing each other as easy as possible, and mainly as easy as possible for her. I tell her that I’ll come over after her shifts at the hospital, just to see her for the evening and then leave the next morning when she goes back off to the hospital. One of her main apprehensions about this is that she feels that me constantly traveling to her might affect my law school work. I’m not trying to show off in any way at all by saying this, but I have no problem with my university work.
I try to explain this to her, but she is still convinced that somehow she will get in the way of my work. I realise that it is far easier for me to put the physical work into the relationship than it is for her, which is why I have no problem doing that.
